Summary
The Property Administrator will perform all administrative duties relating to the collection of rents and rental arrangements for all property and real estate on behalf of Samson Management (2009) Ltd. and Parcan Developments Inc. The Property Administrator will report directly to the Samson Management (2009) Ltd. Senior Real Estate Manager.
Summary of Duties & Responsibilities:
· Negotiate or approve rental or lease of properties owned by Samson Management (2009) Ltd. and Parcan Developments Inc. and ensure terms of lease agreements are met
· Compile and maintain records on operating expenses and income; prepare reports and review rents to ensure they’re at market value
· Administer damage deposits
· May assist in hiring support staff performing clerical, operational, or maintenance duties
· Assist in the preparation of Strategic Management Plans and Budgets when required
· Assembly of data and preparation of periodic and special reports when required
· Advertise all vacancies
· Assist with data entry into company accounting and tenant programs
· Enforce all lease infractions according to the Residential Tenancies Act
· Assist with any office administrative duties as required (payables, payroll, filing, reception)
· Any other related duties as assigned by the Senior Real Estate Manager
Qualifications
· Completion of secondary school
· Completion of training courses or vocational programs in property management and/or real estate.
· Knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act is required
· Valid Driver’s License

Employment Opportunity

Summary
The Office Assistant will report directly to the Real Estate Manager of the Real Estate Division and will be responsible for the reception and general administrative activities for the Real Estate Division.
Duties & Responsibilities
· Oversee and coordinate office administrative procedures
- Greet people coming into the office, direct them to the appropriate contact or services, and provide information in person and by phone.
- Operate telephone system and switchboard to answer, screen and forward telephone calls, taking messages as required.
- Photocopy and ensure all correspondence is distributed to appropriate personnel and/or mail
- Operate all office equipment and maintain equipment as required
- Accept messenger and courier deliveries.
- Process incoming and outgoing mail, manually or electronically.
- Distributes memorandums and related correspondence.
- Maintain boardroom bookings and ensures cleanliness of facility for use.
- Responsible for keeping front desk and reception area neat and tidy at all times as well as coffee room area.
- Keep record of Division personnel whereabouts for messaging and safety purposes.
· Responsible for records management duties

· Data entry for Rent Manager Program daily
· Other tasks assigned by the Real Estate Manager or Assistant Manager
Education
High School Diploma or GED
And/or Office Professional Certificate, or related certifications.

Valid Driver’s license and transportation preferred
Willing to learn Rent Manager Program or have current knowledge is an asset

Summary
The Real Estate Manager has the overall responsibility of an effective/efficient operation and positioning the business at profit. The Real Estate Manager will report directly to the General Manager of Samson Management Ltd. and is accountable for all management responsibilities for the Real Estate and Property Division as well as other properties Samson Management may manage through management agreements.
Summary of Duties & Responsibilities:
Create Business Strategic Management Plans and Budgets annually.
Create quarterly business reports.
Interview, hire, train, evaluate, promote, and terminate employees.
Place proper insurance on each project/property
· Responsible for insurance claims
· Manage collection of rents
· Manage payment of condominium fees and attend condominium board meetings as necessary
· Develop maintenance schedules for each project/property and follow up on implementation and have up-to-date knowledge on present status
· Set up policies, procedures, and regulations and define roles of employees for each project in consultation with and through giving direction via Operations Manager and Property Administrator as applicable.
· Review, approve and process narratives for financial statements monthly
· Prepare, review, code and approve invoices for payments weekly
· Review and approve payroll for payment processing on a bi-weekly basis
· Prepare leasing/rent documentations and attend legal proceedings (court, mediation etc.) as necessary
· Coordinate day-to-day site staff operations via Operations Manager and Property Administrator
· Ensure tenant concerns/issues are handled in a timely fashion
· Over sees purchase and sale of properties
· Create Marketing Strategies in promoting SML Real Estate and its properties it manages
Working Conditions
This position is situated in a climate-controlled office. Various activities are required pertaining to the operation of the business. Will be required to work evenings and weekends to attend meetings, appointments, and emergency calls/situations. Travel will also be necessary.
Qualifications & Experience
· Bachelor’s Degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Finance, Public Administration, or a related major
· Certification in Property Management or Real Estate
· Experience in applying and interpreting industry acts and bylaws
· Demonstrated strong problem-solving, decision making and human resources management capabilities
· Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in property and administration

Summary
This position is a temporary position for the crop farming season only. The Field Hand/Operator will help with planting and harvesting of crops and maintaining farm equipment and must have experience in operating Farm Machinery. Fieldwork includes but is not limited to cultivating, bailing, combining, cutting and fertilizing. The Field Hand/Operator will work under and report directly to the Samson Tribal Enterprise Ltd. Manager.
Position Requirements
· Able to operate and repair farm machinery
· Responsible to assist with planting, cultivating and harvesting of crops
· Ability to help assess the durability of equipment, determining location and nature of malfunctions (preventative maintenance).
· Responsible to clean, service, and maintain farm machinery.
· Responsible for following all safety procedures
· Responsible to assist with repairs and maintenance as needed to equipment, fences, building, ditches and head gates, etc.
· Responsible for assisting with cleaning and maintaining yard, shop and storage areas.
Any other duties assigned by the Supervisor.
Position Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years experience operating farm equipment is required
Valid Driver’s License is required
