Samson Cree Nation is now recruiting for the following 5 committees for the Non-elected committee positions:
· Celebrations · Treaty Protectorate
· Nipisihkopahk Wellness Social Development · Tipahaskahn Kamik
· Business Development
SCN members who are interested in participating in the committees can submit their applications to the Samson Cree Nation Personnel Department.
This is a three (3) year appointment for the NON-elected committee members.
As a committee member you will be required to:
· Attend (and participate) in monthly meetings
· Promote and endorse the mandates of the committees
· Participate in strategic planning, and community engagement sessions
· Work with Chairman to support the SCN programs and services
· Knowledge in the Cree language and culture is an asset
· Must be willing to travel
Required Documentation:
· Letter of intent
· Updated resume with 3 references
· Copy of valid driver’s license
· Criminal record check
· Child intervention check (for those interested in NWSD)
