Summary:
Under the direction of the Kinitawehten F&A Supervisor, and the Business Development Project Manager, the BD Senior Manager, & the SCN Organization Structure, the Fashion Designer is to design and create products, using various methods including sewing, and beading. Providing customer services, taking orders, sales, handing cash, record keeping, inventory, answering general questions, and maintaining the store.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Sewing various Items, including ribbon skirts, ribbon shirts, moccasins, etc.
• Beading various Items
• Cut, shape, fit, join, measure, sew or otherwise process materials using appropriate tools.
• Organize/maintain tidiness and attractive appearance of merchandise on display
• Provide customer service
• Take training and coaching as required
• Stacking shelves
• Inventory maintenance
• Working the POS (Purchase on Site) System
• Handling money
• Record keeping
• Answering phones
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Additional Responsibilities:
• Understands and adheres to all department policies and procedures,
• Will perform administrative support to the Kinitawehten F&A Supervisor in accomplishing their roles and responsibilities. This includes:
• Assists in the development and distribution of staff schedules
• Supports the Kinitawehten F&A Supervisor, Bus Dev Project Manager, and Business Development Senior Manager as needed in addressing any personnel matters within the department, Verifies and records department staff compliance with the departments administrative and financial policies and procedures, including travel expense claims and staff attendance reports

• Office Phone etiquette
• Ability to take direction
• Ability to record accurate notes and record keeping,
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong active listening skills,
• Proven planning, prioritizing, organizing and coordination skills,
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain successful and effective
relationships with a variety of internal and external contacts.
• Ability to speak/and or understand the Cree language is considered an asset
• The successful applicant will be required to obtain and submit a Criminal Record Check after hired.
