Employment Readiness Coach
Summary:
In consultation with the Executive Director is responsible for scheduling and coordinating of Employment Readiness programs with each of the Maskwacis First Nations and MEC clients. Will plan, organize and coordinate necessary requirements including Elder protocol, curriculum, facilitators, venue, supplies, feedback, and complete all necessary reporting. Will also be responsible for facilitation of several components of the employment readiness curriculum and other MEC workshops.
Conduct assessments of potential employment readiness clients including entry into Mobius Data base
Perform follow up of clients obtaining and maintaining employment and record and report findings
Facilitate resume writing, class 7 driving and career development workshops as required.
Represent Maskwacis Employment Center at local and surrounding community events as required.
Assist walk in clients with resumes, work-search and employment skills
Perform cover off for reception when necessary.
You will have:
2 - year diploma in Human Resources or the Human Service Field or equivalent
Experience in group facilitation
Relationship building and networking skills
Computer and data base entry skills
Other Requirements: Valid Class 5 Driver’s License, reliable transportation that may be used for work, willingness to travel.
