Akamihk Child and Family Services Society (ACFSS) Akamihk Child and Family Services Society (ACFSS) is an organization that operates under the Montana First Nation and Family Services Law. ACFSS ensures that the rights of Montana First Nation (MFN) children have access to and are given the opportunity to develop to their fullest potential and capability without interference and/or undue delay.
Driver Duties and Responsibilities:
Accept drive assignments on a scheduled and on-call basis.
MUST have a valid class 5 driver's license.
MUST use own vehicle to transport clients
MUST have own Insurance and registration
MUST submit a copy of an updated clear Criminal Record and clear CYIM check
Drivers will establish a relationship to guide and support the youth/families through mentorship, role modeling, and positive reinforcement
Drivers should have experience working with youth and families with complex behavioral and mental health needs
Knowledge of Trauma-informed care practices is an asset
Drivers will supervise child and family visits; observe and take notes on family interaction
Ensure the safety and privacy of clients.
Complete documentation of all drives, supervised visits, family support visits, and vehicle safety inspections
Represent ACFSS in a professional manner
